ICNEV Interfaith Dinner January 2018

Salam and peace to you all,

Islamic Community Center of North East Valley (ICNEV), Scottsdale Masjid, is delighted to host an Outreach/Interfaith Dinner at ICNEV on Sunday, January 28th at 5:00 pm. Ustad Ali Ataie will be the speaker at this event.

Please use this opportunity to reach out and extend the invite to your non-Muslim neighbors, colleagues at work, teachers. friends, and others. This will be a great opportunity to learn about your neighbors, make friends and have questions answered in a Q & A session led by a scholar.

Since the seating is limited, the event will be open to community members if they are able to bring non-Muslim guests with them. Further, to benefit more non-Muslim guests, we would like to encourage our community members to have at least equal or more number of guests accompany them at this event.

Dinner is at no cost to you. We do request a modest attire that covers, such as pants, long dress or long skirt. There are no arrangement for children at this event. If you have any questions, please email pr@islamcenter.com.

Speakers Bio: Ustadh Ali Ataie

Ustadh Ali Ataie is a teacher and researcher of the Islamic sciences, specializing in theology and biblical interpretation. He has been both a guest lecturer and guest instructor at several colleges and universities such as California Polytechnic State University, UC Davis , UC Berkeley, and Cal State East Bay. He holds a Masters’ Degree in Biblical Studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and is working on a PhD in Islamic Biblical Hermeneutics. His comprehensive knowledge of the Jewish, Christian and Islamic traditions is matched by few. Ustadh Ali is certified in Arabic, Hebrew, and Biblical Greek, and fluent in Farsi.
